Josh Bogle – AM116

November 3, 2020 by Joshua Loya 2 Comments

A view of Josh Bogle from under water while SCUBA diving.Josh’s positivity is immediately apparent to anyone who meets him, and it comes through in this conversation. He attributes much of his positivity to the healing power of the ocean and how fulfilling his life is because of surfing. It is because of his love for the ocean that he has become an advocate for sustainable practices in manufacturing and fishing. Josh doesn’t shy away from darker parts of his story, however. He opens up about his prior addiction to pain relievers and the part that it played in his near death after suffering total kidney and liver failure just ahead of the amputation of both his legs. Josh also shares about the power of music as a creative outlet and how blessed he has been to be able to continue in music as a percussionist.
